The current occupant of the Oval Office is demolishing the East Wing of the White House (see third photo obtained by the Washington Post).

The East Wing is where President Obama ran with Bo in the hallway that visitors enter the White House as they begin their public tour (first photo).

The East Wing houses offices for the First Lady, Social Office, WH Military Office, Military Aides, Visitors Office and more. There is a reception room and a family theater (second photo) for the president's family and guests.

The East Wing is being destroyed by one man. There is a process to renovate any part of the White House. That was ignored.

Congress could have intervened. They didn't.

The media could have done more reporting on what building a ballroom would mean. They believed the lies that one man and one woman (his press secretary) said in response to their initial questions.

This is a disgrace.

The White House was once the People's House. Now it belongs to a wannabe king.
