It was already known there were US operatives in Alberta, that Separatist leaders had been meeting with the Trump admin, that they had a financial deal with US govt & that if Alberta separated there was a deal in place to then be taken over by the US. This is more confirmation

I wouldn't have expected anything less from Stelco. The Canadian government should be more wary in the future of letting US investors acquire control of Canadian resource corporations. Ditto with subsidies to foreign interests. No money up-front in case the likes of Stellantis back out.

We need to decarbonize as soon as possible. That's it. That's reality. And if you're too scared to wanna do it to keep the Earth habitable, it's also going to make energy production more decentralized and less open to attack. So even if you're motivated by fear, you should STILL want to decarbonize.

A lot of people assume we'll start decarbonizing once things calm down. We need a new pipeline now, but hey, once things are better, we can focus on the environment. But things are never gonna calm down. The world is going to get more chaotic every year because we didn't decarbonize decades ago.
