Waiting for my haircut, a parent showed their child a picture of a haircut, asking if that is something they would like. The child responded, "Looks AI." Times like these, I'm so glad my face is masked LOL

Looks like one of my jobs for the last two weeks of this election is staffing the candidate which is fun! Yes, one of my jobs. The problem with being good at everything is you end up doing a bit of everything

It's funny to me how different Ziggy (Archer's brother and litter mate) is. Ziggy is more like Andrew: an agent of chaos who doesn't care about schedules* and most change. *Except when mealtimes and bedtime peanut butter are concerned

This is what makes a recent statement by Probst so remarkable. Basically, he said that despite CBS/Paramount ending its DEI mandate, Survivor is going to lean more heavily into diversity because it makes the show better. After which, Andrew said, "I wonder how long before it's cancelled."

Chapter 14: To Vern, I always feel bad telling you how depressed I am, especially with everything you are always going through. (7 days until this Kickstarter goes live for this actually banned book with actual legislation! Support trans authors loudly which includes sharing this and often!)

Anthropic banning “abusive or cruel behavior” toward Claude in its new usage policies is proof to me that tech companies are going to moderate violence against AI before they ever moderate violence against women and minorities

I love when "progressives" are helping to march us to our death

Jules Sherred (he/him) @geekyjules.julessherred.com · 9h

Also, not specifically mentioning the removal of the Human Rights Tribunal is because of a ruling in favour of trans rights and is therefore an explicit attack on trans rights is equally problematic.

Jules Sherred (he/him) @geekyjules.julessherred.com · 9h

The group Maahs invited was there specifically for anti-trans reasons. Not explicitly mentioning attacks on trans rights when speaking on this is frankly abhorant and why trans ppl are just over two weeks away from losing our rights in BC

Wanna know what's a great way to start your day if you dont want to be productive? Your partner waking up early which causes a cat to become startled and fall off the bed with a THUD which causes you to wake up yelling WHAT THE FUCK

Signing a contract like this is a huge NOPE! The really unfortunate thing is this unreasonable demamd is becoming more common across all creative fields. Dont do it. Your copyright is how you make money. Giving up copyright also means you are giving up sub rights

Prep: super high strength Dulcolax and clear fluids. No nasty drinks. Colonoscopy: no general. Just enough sedation to relax you. I'm fully aware, watch the screen and talking through the entire procedure and remember it all. They will sedate you a bit more if nervous, but most ppl still remember

Jules Sherred (he/him) @geekyjules.julessherred.com · 12h

What always strikes me when Americans talk about their colonoscopy is how different the procedure is there compared to BC (and I assume the rest of Canada). From prep to how the procedure is performed is different
