i’m blessed to have two of these spiders hanging out all summer on my porch. i can’t tell you how many times they have rebuilt after storms and clumsy me. they are fascinating models of resilience. and scary fast, holy crap!

so, i called the pain management clinic at 8 AM to make an appointment. i’m told they no longer make appointments there and referred my case to the appointment people, who never called me. i have every right to expect someone to contact me the same day as i contacted the PAIN MANAGEMENT CLINIC!

i’ve never seen a biscuit mix that you had to add fat, leavening, and milk. typically, it’s just the liquid. they don’t get a pass because it’s gluten free. i mean, i can make biscuits from gluten free flour. i just didn’t want to.
