I agree with that too. But, the main thing to me is that they don't seem to be comfortable with him from under center or from the pocket. That's limiting.

The main thing to me is that they seem to be unwilling to let Hecklinski play under center or from the pocket. Going shotgun (every?) play and rolling out whenever you throw is pretty limiting. I do wish they'd bootleg Hank a bit more often, just to stretch things horizontally, though.

Hecklinski definitely had a good day, and I could be wrong, but I didn't see anything that Hank can't do. And I think Hank can do a lot that Hecklinski can't.

The image is of a four panel comic.
In the first panel, we see a pair of ghosts. The first ghost says, “Let us make love, my darling.”
In the second panel, we see see the second ghost’s face, blushing. It says, “Here? In public?”
In the third panel, we again see the pair of ghosts together. The first one says, “No one can see us, we’re ghosts!”
In the fourth panel, the title reads “the cat”. We see a cat looking up at them.

I would be looking up local decibel ordinances and organizing a technically-legal never-ending block party outside his house for as long as it took for him to apologize. But what this guy ACTUALLY deserves is getting dragged out of his house and getting the shit kicked out of him.

This is a lie, and it's a lie they've been telling since the 1950s. They push the story that technology will give the white-collar populace 4 or even 3-day work weeks, but that never materializes. 5-day work weeks with exponentially greater output expectations does.

I need to see the cost of more things measured in labor years. It's obviously a super valuable perspective for comparing across eras. But it also hammers home the complexity and expense of things and the amount of social power it takes to create them.

Fun fact: Tesla went with a giant touchscreen instead of knobs for the Model 3 purely to save time and money. Knobs would have required spinning up a whole supply chain. The company spun it as a luxury feature and much of the industry followed suit. But it was always an inferior substitute.

To be fair to me, it did occur to me. But I was like "it obviously burns calories to heal damage, but it's probably not a significant amount." It is though. It's an additional 10-30% of your caloric needs. It's very significant.

TIL that recovering from a surgery or injury literally increases how many calories you burn. Maybe that should have been obvious. It makes a ton of sense. But I really was flabbergasted about how I've been eating the same and losing weight and why I've been getting tired so damn fast.

Face-coverings for Muslim women are the equivalent of a "ball and chain", the Tory shadow justice secretary has said.
Nick Timothy said he hated the niqab and burqa - and their use was "harmful" to wider society.
Asked about his view on them, he told a Spectator fringe: "We are an open society, and we should want people to be able to make their own choices."
Timothy continued: "I hate the niqab and the burqa. I've said before, when I see a woman wearing that, I see a human being with a ball and chain around her ankle.
"It is a deliberate choice to cut women off from society, and I think the harm caused by that is not just to the women involved -- considerable as that may be.

Notice how the headline frames Cuba as the potential lawbreaker: a ship is “intercepted” while “smuggling” oil into the country. What the headline obscures is that the U.S. is the one violating international law by imposing an oil blockade on Cuba and hijacking oil shipments bound for the island.
