i remember learning how important it is for babies and toddlers to not only hear you talk but to SEE you talk and watch your different mouth movements and expressions while reading and engaging in conversation

I guess I'd never thought about the fact that a baby isn't going to necessarily figure out that speech comes from a mouth (and maybe even their own mouth) without having seen a person talking

my kid was in speech therapy for a year and i did a deep dive on all the language and child development and learned quite a bit to help him, so you're really doing a huge disservice to them by outsourcing your parent duties and bonding for a lot of reasons and it just makes you a piece of shit

Plus, holding your young child while reading them a book is incredible bonding time. This was often the best part of my day when my kids were young. I weep for that baby, having this guy as a father.

Not only that! There is a growing #relationship here that is primary in each person’s life! But even IF You could train an AI to imitate your voice, it would not carry the same consciousness, presence, or even sound resonance! Wake UP! ✨✨✨ There are so many people who should never have children!
