If you're willing to spend a little more, I was a diehard Andrew Christian fan. The designer retired and Awry seems to be filling their market gap. They have a few patterns, but mostly color block stuff. I have a couple pairs of shorts, and they're pretty comfy.

I have never encountered a worse ratio for this than in St. Louis. Like, attempting to merge onto a 65mph highway at 40mph. And they *will* try to get over at least two lanes at that speed, so good luck getting around them.
