When I was drawing the Stargazer origin recap I drew an entire page of Callie finding Madison and Roguestar. It got cut because it just added more than what was needed. By the way, she’s introducing herself with Bah-weep-graaagnah-wheep-ni-ni-bong… …which worked.

Yeah, Callie loves swimming. She actually has an NAUI certification… Not that there’s a whole hell of a lot of scuba diving in the galactic ocean, but it surprisingly helps a lot in zero-gravity.

So this is my Twin Mill and GT Scorcher with Toyhax’s Skram and Rapido set on them. I might remove Scorcher’s stickers and try and remove the Hot Wheels branding on his sides and find a decent teal to paint the legs to make it less stickery… But I think they look great, even as new characters.

X-Men '97 mostly worked because it picked up where the old show left off. This isn't even that. We should be in the '88 & '89 year, with Powermaster Prime, Micromasters, Pretenders & Seacons. Bumblebee, Jazz, Grimlock & Starscream had new toys. Monstructor, Bludgeon, Nightbeat & Thunderwing too.

Acknowledging that "dark" does not always equal serious any more than "light hearted" means fun. I think Transformers is like Street Fighter in that when you acknowledge it's silly fun, it works great. But when you take it so straight faced serious drama... It kinda sucks.
