eating fish although they still do consume insect too. They echolocate from their mouth at a long constant frequency around 55 kHz, which is really high for a bat of its size. They like to roost in hollow trees and deep sea caves (Here’s some different angles)

They lack pigment in their wings and that’s why the veins are so visible. And a really cool thing they can do is breathe through their wings by diffusing gases through them! (the wings make up 85% of a bat's surface area and bc the wings are so thin, it can contribute up to 10% of its gas exchange)-

#DailyBat: The northern ghost bat. They are a rare but of least concern fluffy bat belonging to the group of false vampire bats. They don’t form colonies unlike a lot of ghost bats do, which is most likely due to lack of roosting sites, but some bat biologists think it’s because they are solitary-
