Defund ICE. Take its entire budget and devote it to a Manhattan Project that can devise and implement sound guardrails for AI, and figure out how to stop what can and should be stopped in the way of superintelligence and recursive self-improvement. AI is far, far more dangerous than immigrants.

The issue isn't "how high is inflation" but how people feel about the President's approach. Carter had an approach; it didn't work. Trump has been personally driving inflation up with his policies. I don't think it's unreasonable for "make it worse" to be even more unpopular than "failed to fix."

They have already gone too far. The only hope they have to avoid prosecution is to maintain power. They will continue to tighten their grip with threats of force and intimidation (and perhaps actual force). The only way to stop this is to stick together, vote and protest, and laugh at them.
