I feel like Pokémon Black and White would have done a lot better with no Pokémon from other generations if they had made 150 brand new and completely original mon’s but instead they mostly just riffed on Gen 1 designs to a degree that the game sorta just feels like a bootleg more than anything

A guy at work assured me that Black Clover is good actually so I gave it another chance (with the English dub, I can’t stand Asta in the Japanese dub) and the show is alright but the writing just feels so cumbersome and clumsy.
