There are SO many reasons people aren't having kids. The biggest being financial strain or worries about the future kids will inherit. That's not what people/institutions like this are worried about. They're scared of the women who just dont want kids. Women are not allowed to just not want kids.

OK, probably true, but this isn't the fault of being diagnosed is it! It's the fault of social attitudes to these disorders and the way they're dealt with which isn't helped by people saying they're being overdiagnosed which just makes people think someone's looking for an easy way out.

The experts said too often diagnoses of mental health problems and ADHD and autism were ending up as labels that defined people by their "difficulties rather than their strengths and potential", harming their prospects at school, in work and in relationships.

My ADHD doc this time around said "you're autistic" but it isn't in the medical notes nor is there a referral and when I asked the other ADHD doc I know about it I had a "I don't think that's correct" and now I'm just, whatever, fine then, who needs clarity anyway
