But did I really bake if I didn't make a huge mess?

Sink full of black measuring cups and dishes all full of flour, eggs, and other baking detritus

Silver mixing bowl from a Kitchen Aid stand mixer full of banana bread mixture. It has a green spatula sticking out of it.

Black Kitchen Aid stand mixer with a dirty paddle attachment on it in the lifted position with no bowl under it. There is a toaster oven in the background. The counter has flour and baking soda on it in streaks. There is a vanilla container out of it's box and a giant 4 lb orange box of baking soda next to it.

Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism. We have to sustain each other. Making joy isn’t denial, it’s how we will survive

The rain cleared out the dust at least. Now we can see the moon clearly.

View of the waxing moon from the porch. There is a slight view of the dark looking trees,a stop sign is visible. The tops of the apartments across the street are visible. The sky is starting to turn a dark blue in a circle where the clouds have cleared away.

this right here. this gets it.

Text reading: The answer, however, isn’t to match their hate: It’s to match the unwavering certitude with which they express their beliefs.

Now is not the time for Democrats—and Progressives especially—to compromise. It’s time to unapologetically seek and regain power in order to enact the policies that will serve the greatest good. You don’t need to be a joyful warrior to participate; just someone willing to be in this fight.

Can anyone tell me why there would be green lights at a location instead of white? Especially weird cause this is our government center. And also why does it give me tommyknockers vibes?

Picture of buildings in a small town with quite a few trees. This is the entrance to the government center. All the streetlamps are green lights, the smaller lamps are green, the ambient lighting is green, the pathway lights are also green. In the main street in front you can see the lights are white.
