Anyone know where I can get a "No on 3" yard sign? @voterrightsma.bsky.social @progressivemass.bsky.social This question concerns me because the downsides are significant and not immediately obvious.

I've just finished reading Careless People, and there's nothing about this story that surprises me. That anyone is still willing to use a Meta product at this point is beyond me. #booksky

Not discussed enough about question 3: any group of at least 50 people can get their endorsement advertised on the ballot. $$$ buys front groups with deceptive names. The effect of jungle primaries in a blue state seems counterintuitive, but these endorsement groups are such a disastrous idea.

@mayorwu.boston.gov can we do this in Boston? I know some neighborhoods already do this on their own. But it would be nice if it were more organized and advertised.

This kind of vehicular violence, regardless the underlying cause, fills me with rage. Too many people in Boston have been killed by drivers this year, and it's 100% preventable. I'm participating in the #WeekWithoutDriving because this is not ok, I'm not ok, and we're not ok.

If, as speculated, this was caused by the driver hitting the accelerator due to human error or medical event, let's be 100% clear: That does not make it "just one of those things." That does not make it "unforeseeable." That does not make it "unpreventable." This is not an acceptable failure mode.

I'm astounded that the Boston Public Schools is still pushing forward with their "AI Ambassadors" program that pays students and staff to act as tech evangelists in the district. When your education policy aligns with Linda McMahon's, you are gravely off-course.

I left @massgovernor.bsky.social a voicemail on Friday, and plan to also email my other elected officials about this exceedingly bad idea. Gas tax cuts don't get fully reach the consumer, and the only thing that can bring prices down, without increased supply, is reduced demand.

Unacceptable: A new survey from @ghsahq.bsky.social finds that nearly HALF of school children have had a close call with a driver near a bus or in a school zone 😡 Check out the full report: www.ghsa.org/news/school-...
Infographic from the Governors Highway Safety Association titled “What Parents Think About School Bus Safety.” It reports that 46% of parents whose children ride a school bus say their child has experienced a close call near a bus or school zone; 91% support automated stop-arm enforcement to hold dangerous drivers accountable; and 53% believe dangerous driving continues because drivers do not think they’ll get caught. Blue pedestrian, stop-sign, and speedometer graphics illustrate the statistics.

I tell people that most television production is unglamorous. In the ~25 years I’ve spent in the business, I can count on one hand the truly boast-worthy moments. Reading sides with Bryan Cranston, spending a day with David Ortiz, and now going BEHIND the CURTAIN at Ron’s 20th Century Bowling!

I'm confused about where the bike lanes start, as they aren't pictured in this Mattapan Sq proposal. 🤔 Even small gaps in bike infrastructure have huge safety implications, and I certainly won't be navigating a 4-lane Mattapan Sq to get on the northbound lane on the opposite side of the street.
