The one male is Asian. I had two white male doctors at one point - and both were dismissive of my concerns and rushed through our conversations. We fired them quickly. As with all professions, there is a lot of coasting on privilege that happens in medicine, and that needs to change.

My team of 8 (cancer and post-cancer) doctors are all females except for one. Together, they pulled me back from the brink of death (fr) and have worked tirelessly to help me manage the world of permanent disability as well as possible. This research is fascinating.
