As a total research nerd, my favourite part of a @jaketapper.bsky.social novel is the footnotes. Whether he is explaining what actually happened in history or making a hilarious comment about preserving the meaning of “irony” for future generations, they add so much richness to the story.

A foot it in the novel “All the demons are here,” that tells the reader how irony is defined, and pleads for people to use it properly.

🧪We just got back from London, and one of our favourite trips was to the world’s largest Dino - the Titansaur. It lived 101 million years ago, was an herbivore, and weighed as much as a human adult when it hatched. Pretty stunning to see it up close and feel that small.

This is Debbie from the Royal Festival Hall in London. She greeted me at the door to see what disability help I needed for my graduation, and then helped my uncle in a wheelchair through the artist entrance (“Paul McCarthy used this elevator”) so we could all enjoy my grad without any worries. 💙💙💙

The most amazing woman who helped my family throughout my graduation from King’s College London. She got us through the ceremony and then escorted us to our restaurant before returning the wheelchair!

King’s College London did a fabulous job managing my disabilities during graduation. The hall was filled with the bright colours of turbans and hijabs. The number of women picking up their masters - Black women and women from Muslim countries where education is restricted - it was glorious.
