I met my childhood friend group while learning about monarch migration in 2nd grade. I was new & put in a group w/ kids I didn't know on the day of the classroom monarch release. The monarch was being stubborn & we tried warming the wings & the monarch decided to hop onto a friend's nose & stay.

This was so refreshing to watch. I think a lot of people who criticize the use of references often aren't artists and they assume everyone is creating from scratch---and I also think this is why some people think they *can't* make art. Because they cut out a significant aspect of the process!

My favorite breakfast spot was packed with sportsball fans. So I went to a place I hadn't in a while. It was very lackluster. I went to a coffeeshop I hadn't been to before bc all of the downtown ones were packed---the coffee was good but the person on cash register seemed high & it was awkward.

But why do people steal bikes in the first place? I know there are myriad reasons, but a significant one is, ofc, transportation. Need public transit too. Making sure people can get where they need to safely & reliably regardless of method needs to be the foundation of expanded bike infrastructure.

The process for getting disability through Social Security is such a prime example of this. Nearly everyone gets turned down on their first time applying. The entire process, with appeals, can take between 1 to 3 years. And during that time you CANNOT work.
