One thing that's striking about Ozzy Osborne's death is how difficult it is to imagine the music industry producing another figure like him. The barriers to working class people are so great, and there's a related attitude to culture that is neutered as a result.

There is a clear link between land-use planning and climate resilience. In the UK, it is building houses in the floodplain, or poor urban design leading to increased heat risk. In LA, this is about urban sprawl into woodland areas, increasing fire risk. Urban planning must take account of risk!
