Went to sapphic night at a gay bar this weekend. It was amazing. The DJ was another trans woman and she was on fire, and I danced my heart out surrounded by other queer women doing the same. I'd never felt so free and open, shout singing the words to songs on a floor full of women doing the same.

The dive bar I was at last night is known for local live music. They're not a gay bar, it's not a well known fixture in the queer community - - it's just a bar that is built around live music, including a lot of blues and country music. They have a giant pride progress flag on the wall.

It's amazing how the tiniest little detail can throw off a look. I tried out a new outfit last night, and my makeup came out pretty fantastic at the end. It was a good look. It'd have been an amazing look if I'd gone with a neutral lip instead of purple. One tiny detail. Still looked goooood.
