Also, I put a ~1000 foot exclusion zone around highways because I'd like to hang on to what lung health I still have, and it cuts out about 20% of the 17 square mile total zone of plausibility. Lotta cool things about Minneapolis, but the excess of highways is not one of them.

Winter cyclists in Quebec City have increased from 6,000 to 19,000 in just five years, as the city builds more bike infrastructure and takes winter clearing more seriously. Winter cycling doesn’t have to be as common as summer cycling to reach a point where it’s relatively common and visible.

Back to this. #BikeTO What's going to happen next? Now that we know they are going to have a police presence (at whatever cost) and that permits don't matter, they'll likely continue with daytime work instead of overnight. Easier to get police, safer, better weather.
