It's been a long, overall cool (with intermittent warm spells) and rainy spring, so my flowers have had brief glories and much wind/rain battering. I have one more tomato plant to put in, plus lots of seeds (that may or may not come up). The birds' black raspberries will be a bumper crop this year!

I hope I’m not alone in thinking that polling people after a domestic terrorist murders a woman is a weird, even gross, response to the incident. Imagine if, on 9/12/2001, Gallup polled the US, asking voters if they thought crashing planes into the twin towers was the right thing to do.
