Hugs and best wishes for her recovery 💙 Monthly book club read Winter Garden, by Kristen Hannah. Almost a dnf because of the way she wrote one of the characters, but the fairy tale aspect kept me going. Cried really hard about history. Found the ending far too implausible. But, glad I read a book!

Back on my bullshit. Forgot how to read again. Winter Garden, by Kristen Hannah, is next up for my once-a-month club. Apparently I love page one so much that I read it and fall asleep immediately - every night, for four nights so far. "But tomorrow night, all of that would change."

I read a whole book! Mary Norton's, "Are All the Giants Dead?" Very short, and beautifully illustrated by Brian Froud. It had the wrong photo attached to it at one of the online used book sites, so I ordered it wondering if I would get the title or the photo.
