I don't think I can add much to the conversation about how influential John Blanche's art is, people much better at writing than me are doing a fine job of that. What I can do is talk about how inspiring he was in other ways, namely his bottomless and unquenchable curiosity.

Incredibly sad news about John Blanche. He was a genuine visionary, a lovely person and was a huge inspiration for me, I feel fortunate to have known him. He will be greatly missed.

Silksong is just sublime. I'm glad I played HK recently because I can see every improvement. The extra parallax layers in the background, the little animation touches, the reactivity between the environment and the player/enemies/NPCs. Hollow Knight was a 10/10 game for me and somehow this is better
