This here Warhammer Tone Pro paints landed on my doorstep care of Games Workshop. Now to go see what happens when someone who has put his entirely hobby mind and alchemical predilections (read as: would be Madcap Chemist) into Contrast paints tries to paint with these. #WarhammerTonePro #Ad #AdWIP

Still angry at people who abused the freedom of early 40k 8th edition to make armies of Flying Hive Tyrants and the like, bringing in the Rule of Three and stopping me from running my ridiculous 6 Deathstrikes in a Matched Play event. The rule? A grand shout. Worked perfectly. But I’m still grumpy.

The new Kaius Konorius lands out soon alongside the Space Marines Codex and when Games Workshop sent one my way I did the only thing I could. Paint him as a Patriarchs of Ulixis Space Marine of course! Recipe here: vincentknotley.wordpress.com/2026/09/29/k... #Ad #WarhammerCommunity #New40k #AdWIP

Finally have some good news proper on my dad’s condition. Since being moved to a specialised neurology ward, his condition has improved massively. Much much less confused. And his blood pressure seems to be holding much steadier. Still early days but having seen him today, he’s improving greatly.

Looking for some Space Marines colour scheme idea for 40k after the new Warhammer 40,000 Space Marines Codex hit pre-order this weekend? Well here's a bunch! Some are on Space Wolves, some on Dark Angels, and some are even pulled from the Horus Heresy, but that's the beauty of Space Marine armour.

It JUST dawned on me that the bombs in Battleship (2012) are shaped like the pegs from the board game. Only took… 14 years.

One thing which quickly apparent when painting mainly larger miniatures (Ogors/Gargants) is just how much longer they take, even with contrast. Which is no surprise. They’re big. Granted I’ve not had as many hours go paint as normal but so far each Boss Stomper has taken as long as 4 marines each.
