You prefer a roll, or are you advocating just scrunched up chaos?

Sure fine, maybe. But the broader 'promise' which tends to posit the whole-new-movie-from-a-prompt idea, misses so many points about everything.

I share a name with some venture capital guy in the US, and I get quite a lot of emails in my gmail that are clearly meant for him. They all tend to read like this...
Email screenshot:

Subject: Q4 cohort seats
From: paul@[redacted]vc.best

Hey Dylan, The Q4 venture cohort added a handful of GTC seats, focused on moving from heads down product to scaling 1 → n.

The kickoff brings the enterprise acquisition protocol (Dell, Oracle) into early-stage founders.

Mind if I send over the RSVP details? If not, no stress, I’ll clear your info.

'Piggy bank is empty' nonsense provides cover for the political class. Once the lie is exposed, they have to answer questions like 'If we have 100,000s of people wanting work, and plenty of raw materials, why is our infrastructure falling to bits? Sounds like mismanagement, ay? (It is!)

People make the same predictions about "personalised movies" — absolute numbbrained bullshit. But I guess what do you expect from people who "fixed" the "eating problem" by creating a nutritionally perfect grey slop so that they didn't need to actually bother with eating real food?

It's just SO much money to spend on an accessory. I don't think I'll ever understand it. I feel the same about luxury cars and so many other things.

A lot of panic and hand waving from right-coded political people about the prospect of Chlöe Swarbrick as Minister of Finance... Honestly can't see any reason why. Why would they suggest Nicola Willis is somehow uniquely better suited? Chlöe is clearly very smart and well informed. It's silly.

Nothing angers me more than when a rich person says they are happy to be taxed more and people say “why don’t you write a check to the government” motherfucker they want everyone in their tax bracket to also write a check to the government because that’s how maths works you fucking numpty.

This is making the rounds but be aware: it's A.I. slop! First: having those big trucks with tanks full of fuel going that fast off-terrain seems highly unrealistic. But there's also a SUV and a guy appearing all of sudden and walking in the middle of it at the 17 second :P So yeah, don't fall for it

And I don't imagine I would ever turn up with an iced coffee, but maybe a can or coke or an energy drink. Is that the same issue? Sort of depends on where and when the interview is, I guess.

Iced coffee commentary seems so stupid. I've been interviewed for jobs and I have interviewed people for jobs... And I doubt I'd even have really clocked it if someone I was interviewing brought an iced coffee or some other drink. It's so immaterial.
