The cover of my third novel, HERO COME HOME. lol, I'm telling ya. Indie authors love the abusive relationship with Amazon. One of the tools at our collective disposal in the last few years was KDP's price-matching to free. Apparently this weekend most price-matched books reverted to previous pricing without any warning.

I feel like these people have such warped views or reality. I'd rather get a poorly written, unpunctuated email from someone that I know is real than some AI slop that's "professional." This idea that evil competence is better than... the alternative is so dire.

There is only one sort of books that aren't real books: The AI "written" kind. Anything else, from the children's book with lots of pictures in it to the multi-volume encyclopedia is A REAL BOOK. Being a book snob is no good look, and usually a predisposition of people who rarely, if ever, read.🤨
