I should also add that when the movie got to showing people burning Teslas and vandalizing dealerships, the theater of mostly older folks in Santa Monica started applauding. I think it is possible Trump and Musk turned libs over 50 into John Brown.

Trying something a little different for the 2027 tree distribution: these are all rooted cuttings of either named varieties or selections in this project. The total number of surviving cuttings are similar to the number of seeds typically started each fall for this project
Photo of eight medium to large flower pots in a row along a gravel floor at the base of a greenhouse wall. Each pot has between 8 and 20 avocado cuttings in it. There are blue labels on most of the pots, which read from left to right: LSG, Teague, Prince, Duke, #169, Linh, and Puebla.

Far right billionaires want to replace journalists, writers, artists, and educators with "A.i." because THEY CAN CONTROL THE OUTPUTS. They want compliance. They want to limit what people are even capable of thinking. Consumer-facing "A.i." is a tool of fascists. Reject it for that reason alone.

ProPublica spoke to dozens of people who had lived in homeless encampments when cities cleared them out in “sweeps.” We distributed notecards so people could tell us about the toll in their own words. ➡️ This is what they wrote:
Handwritten notecard. Prompt at the top asks: What object was most devastating for you to lose, and how have you been coping? Answer below: Dentures. Were thrown away and coping isn't somthing I can do. It’s made me feel ugly, unworthy, can’t go get a job with no teeth. So how can get off the streets until another pair can be made?

Billionaires, you DO have agency in your future. Of course, the question is not WHETHER the rich get eaten, it's how. SOMEONE will make decisions about whether your wealth is whittled away through a wealth tax, or through hefty lawsuits and fines finally holding you to account for externalities.

Close-up photo of an avocado flower in the pollen-receptive (female) stage, with a pink pistil, surrounded by a half-dozen yellow stamens. There are two unopened flower buds just below the open flower.A slightly pulled back photo of the same flower as the other photo, showing the full panicle it is attached to, which includes about ten unopened flower buds and one pollen-releasing (male) flower that has begun to close for the final time.
