Regarding Xbox

In June 2026 we announced that the release of Big Walk would be limited to computers, Switch 2 and PS5. Since then, we have received many messages and comments, asking about a future Xbox release. We would like to address those questions here:

We have made the decision not to release Big Walk on Xbox, in accordance with the Palestinian-led BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) movement’s call to boycott Microsoft, and their designation of Microsoft Games (and Xbox) as a priority boycott target. If you need help understanding our motives, we would recommend reading about why Microsoft is a BDS priority target, the successes this kind of pressure has already had on Microsoft, and especially, watching this great introductory piece by People Make Games.

It has always been our intention for Big Walk to be played by groups of friends, and we know that keeping the game off Xbox runs counter to those intentions. This decision means that some people will miss out on playing Big Walk with their friends, and we understand the disappointment we’re causing. We are disappointed too.

We would love for people to be able to play the game on Xbox, but not until Microsoft and/or Xbox have been removed as BDS boycott targets.

We’ve made this decision with the belief that meaningful change can be made in the world, that coordinated collective action can confront even the most powerful interests, and that one day, Palestine will be free.

I believe it's supposed to be a joke. EGS launched in 2019 and it took them two years to add an "add to cart" function. People mocked them for it and used it as an example of how much they were behind Steam, even on basic features like a frigging shopping cart.

To be perfectly clear: I’m not saying that Lando shouldn’t get a penalty. Just that I think it’s unlikely that the FIA will penalize a crash between teammates because there’s no one to lobby for a penalty and no one else was affected by the crash.

I just think I’d be more confident in a penalty if Lando hit someone from another team. It’s not like Piastri can (or would) insist on a penalty in front of the stewards. Both drivers said after the race that they’ll talk about it at the meeting and that’s probably going to be it.

Watching this Apple event tout how iPhones will soon be able to record ambient audio/conversations and transcribe "high level notes" for you. It's billed as private and end-to-end encrypted, but I think the bigger harm is the normalization of always-listening devices. It's creepy and not normal.

For sure. I paid 25 bucks for the new copy for DS2 and I know it’s not gonna drop that low on PSN anytime soon. Now that they stopped dropping the MSRP of their first-party games, the sales on PSN don’t mean nearly as much anymore.
