At least my Bluesky timeline is having fun.
Screenshot of a Bluesky timeline showing two back-to-back posts.

The first post is from the account “old roadside pics” showing a shirtless person lying on grass in the sun.

The second post is from NBC News about scientists discovering the world’s oldest evidence of a plague outbreak in prehistoric graves, illustrated with a photo of a human skeleton in an archaeological excavation.

@pocketcasts.com I just updated to the new Liquid Glass version of the iOS app. Looks nifty! But is there a particular reason why the media controls of the mini player have to be on the right side? It’s a pretty big downgrade for left-handed people because it’s a lot harder to reach now.
PocketCasts’ new Liquid Glass UI puts the media controls on the right side of the screen. It was bigger and centered before the update.

Finally decided to give The Mist (2007) another shot. I keep seeing people saying that it’s kinda good, but I remember watching it around the time it came out and not liking it at all. So that should be fun. #filmsky 📽️

I guess it’s one of those Bloodborne Sundays. It’s a weirdly comforting game for me. And it’s amazing that I can play my PS4 copy on PC now thanks to PS4 emulation. High-res and buttery smooth. What a glow-up.

I never attempted to put it inside the cabinet, because I couldn’t imagine that it would run great. I’m running the CPU at stable PBO -30, which is great. I also recommend trying out two 60 mm fans in a pull configuration right next to the CPU cooler to help with the CPU and VRM temps.

While I'm happy with my Fractal Design Ridge SFF case for my living room PC, I can't help but love the XiKii Industry cases. They’re expensive and often tailor-made for specific hardware, sometimes to an impractical degree, but I feel like they have a certain ’90s industrial vibe and I love it.

Fortunately, your posts still show up. That said, thanks for sharing this because I had no idea about those advanced settings. I wonder how much I've been missing because things like "rude" or "impersonations" (I assume parody accounts?) were automatically set to hide instead of "warn" or "label".

Aw, shucks. It’s so rainy, dark and gloomy outside on a national holiday where there’s nothing that warrants leaving the house. I guess I have no choice but to cozy up on my couch underneath a couple of blankets and continue with my Clair Obscur playthrough! Total bummer, I know.

Just scrolled past this here and couldn't believe it. Like, even if you don't want to give Charles a pass despite being through a lot with the team, what the hell did Lewis say that justifies a comment like this?
An image of Formula 1 drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, with a quote from former Formula 1 driver and current Sky Sports Germany pundit Ralf Schumacher, commenting on their radio messages during the Australian Grand Prix 2025: "It was like that with both of them. Not only Hamilton but also Charles Leclerc was relatively stroppy on the radio. If I were the team principal right now, I'd call them both into my office and give them both a rap on the knuckles because that's not on."

I don’t care how long it takes. One year, two years, five years. But as soon as NVIDIA support on Linux is top notch, I’m so ready to ditch Windows as my primary OS for gaming.

Huh. Given how it's presented on the f1.com front page, I expected a lot more coverage about the move. Weird decision.

Thank you! Noise and temps are pretty good. Higher than in the old config, of course, but not concerning or loud. Silent when idle, with the CPU staying int the low-to-mid 40s and reaching ~87°C under heavy load. The GPU remains unchaged, surprisingly enough. 30°C when idle and mid 60s under load.
Temperature chart of a 3dmark benchmark run. The AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU reaches an average temperature of 60°C while the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 GPU stays slightly below 60°C.

This is my first time building a small form factor PC (SFF), so seeing how small the CPU cooler is compared to my old Noctua NH-D15 makes me chuckle a little.

Little side note, but the whole Asus ROG STRIX branding always makes me cringe. “Republic of Gamers”, “for those who dare”, the angry, serious eye. I always get huge “we demand to be taken seriously” vibes from it, and like, no.
