I sadly cannot be there, I'm a carer for my mother. I am scared that my community is so vulnerable. I am terrified for my lovely neighbours who are from diverse backgrounds. I am (selfishly) fearful of leaving my home empty except for my poor cats.

He told ITV News there were “too many young people being put on disability benefits”. Young people can be disabled. Nobody is PUT on benefits, it's an apply/prove model. An application for Pip I advocated for took a year, MR, appeal and finally a tribunal. There's the wasted money - the process!

In the context of Labour targeting welfare & disability benefits here’s just a few of the conditions are believed to actually be under diagnosed. Many people fly under the radar & Labour are making it even less likely they will have access to support. Stigmatising mental health/disability again.
