There has been multiple times i have tried to use the trains and found the times either too infrequent or services finish far too early. As a result I either drive or cancel plans. Driving is at least twice the travel time to bham central and more expensive + parking share.google/ieJAueFwog84...

This is true, but: 1) there has to be an existing market to take over (Uber) 2) there has to be suppressed demand for the service offered, which you can lock in to create an economy of scale and then profit (Amazon) AI firms are trying to find one of those two things, so far with limited success.

Vance's Easter visit to Rome clogged its streets with a 40-vehicle entourage. He also demanded the Coliseum be closed so he and his family could tour it alone. Tourists who properly booked slots in advance got screwed. He's apparently the first to make that demand. Then he didn't bother to show up.

What makes my eyes roll about the US is that they have this truly sincere and robust identity of rugged individualism and personal autonomy, with a constitution built around liberty - but no one is ever willing to just go and punch the bully in the face. Weak as piss performative exceptionalism

To avoid automatically using AI in every Google search thanks to their no-one-asked-for-this AI summaries, you can type -ai or &udm=14 in the search terms. Or you can switch your default search engine (I switched to Duck Duck Go, which has the added benefit of being private).

Musk’s own AI identifies him as a major dissemination of misinformation online
An article from Fortune magazine says that Elon Musk’s AI labels him “one of the most significant spreaders of misinformation on X”
Grok was asked who spreads the most misinformation on X and it did not hesitate to name its own creator "Based on various analyses, social media sentiment, and reports, Elon Musk has been identified as one of the most significant spreaders of misinformation on X since he acquired the platform," it wrote, later adding
"Musk has made numerous posts that have been criticized for promoting or endorsing misinformation, especially related to political events, elections, health issues like COVID-19, and conspiracy theories. His endorsements or interactions with content from controversial figures or accounts with a history of spreading misinformation have also contributed to this perception."
