I honestly can't think of an issue where my mind has been more thoroughly changed by listening to people on social media. While MAiD is something that in principle I'd support, it's not possible to have it as a truly consensual option under current systems- something I learned from disabled folks.

If you find out the kids are using a lot of public apps I'll try to find some sort of helpful basic "avoid targeted marketing" training - market based stuff is far more insidious than most bigots are so one will help you start best practices vs the other.

Start by asking both of them what they are doing right now on apps and communications to avoid her parents or school bullies- maybe start setting up a secure VPN - def have a different network for visitors separate from what the house uses.
