Made lasagna for the first time! Came out great overall. Next time will add more shredded mozza on top and maybe a bit more tomato paste in the meat. But very pleased with this first attempt!

This is probably the best "budget" Changeling commander until Ur-Dragon's price goes down significantly. Same main payoff, less color access but its attack trigger is arguably better.

New infinite loop! I might try it in my Ganax Feywild Visitor deck? Not too hard to pair this with a 3rd card to turn the draw into a win!

Guys, I’m gonna start doing some Magic Content :) Nothing too serious for the moment but it’s gonna be fun either way. I already spend most of my free time brewing, discussing or thinking about MTG so might as well share with everyone :)

I know I am biased but this song World of Warcraft made a few years back is one of the best promo materials ever made: youtu.be/Fo7XPvwRgG8?... English version is great but they also recorded it in a dozen other languages! Russian is probably my favorite!

I told my friends that my favorite MTG playstyle is Tempo / Delver / Snapcaster etc so they gave me Kennen for my first try at Riftbound Okay yeah this is super fun

This was my first recording after tonsil surgery and apparently my voice wasn't back to normal yet. Tons of comments about my voice so just wanted to post an explanation here too.

This episode is SO HYPE! Seth filled in for me (I made the '93 deck) since unfortunately I was recovering from my tonsil surgery, but my goodness it was SO FUN to brew the deck and the game ended up being amazing!

I've been binge-watching Full Metal Alchemist while recovering from my tonsillectomy I'm 26 episodes in and the show keeps getting better. The first episodes were okay, but dang the writing is absolute peak atm

I'm jealous that I never thought of this topic before! Commander is the best format to indulge in self-expression and it totally makes sense. Joey is crushing it and you love to see it! ♥️

Mirrorform is my favorite card of 2026 and it's not even close. It's a peak "storytelling" card: people fondly remember the moment it's cast. That's the type of Commander experience I cherish most. And the card is stronger than it looks, simple clean design, A+ all around!

I think the entire top 10 are bad designs I am also worried at how all these high power floor, easy commanders end up all being the most popular, signalling to designers to make more of them, and the implications of that on the format

Hobbit upgrades for Changelings Beorn is 100% going in, great draw + anthem + body Desolation will be tested, not sure if 3 damage is enough Passage will also be tested, it's not good for 5C but I like the art + flavor

3320

Tomer Abramovici @budgetcommander.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

I like the intent here: let people have a 5C Angel deck without enabling 5C Goodstuff. I was initially against it but I think its fine when used sparingly. I just wonder if the 5C Angel crowd will be satisfied with this? Or will the inability to run all Angel support cards be the next complaint?

3 years ago we did a podcast designing our own commander cards. @saffronolive.bsky.social designed a solution to build around Nephilim. Seth's version was infinitely more busted than the official one we just got 😆
