80% of my Youtube recommended videos these days have AI thumbnails. And yes, you can ABSOLUTELY tell. If your thumbnail is AI-generated, I'm not watching your video. Doesn't matter how long I've been subscribed or how many views it has. I'd rather see a stick figure drawing.
