I don't say "You have to learn and respect ACT-TING" to be a gatekeeper. I say this based on education first, experience second. My advice comes from ACTIVELY WANTING you to do well and achieve your goals, not snobbishness. It's an act of love to be honest, even if it's not what you want to hear.
