Been thinking about how many kinda shitty or frustrating older games that would have seemed like a rip off when sold for £50 are kind of inherently saved by you being able to buy them on steam or gog for like the price of a coffee nowadays.

It might be Super Mario Bros 2 on the NES. Something so colourful and imaginative to my child brain, and so different to the first game. Or Police Quest on PC around the same time . “I can walk around the world, type things in, and the game responds?!”
