Forced car dependency is killing us in so many ways. I saw a post recently where a 30 year old woman had survived a heart attack. She shared that she was shocked bc she's been going for 20 min walks every day for years and assumed her cardio health was in good shape as a result.

Unfortunately, I found that women are quite willing to betray other women. In my study of campus sexual violence, 80% of the school administrators in Title IX roles were women. They had been trained to acted misogynistically and so they did.

The main reason you haven’t heard about campus sexual violence in a few years is because Trump and SCOTUS have made it much, much harder for survivors to come forward. You might vaguely remember that Title IX was a big battleground in his first term. And that we lost.

One of the Cornell students accused of gang rape, Scott Kretzschmar, denies it and says through his attorney that they are going to “confront” the survivor through the court system. I can already tell you that means victim-blaming, DARVO, and smears. She is going to need a lot more of our support.
