Meant to post this two days ago, but it has been a year (and two days) since JD Vance said after a mass shooting that it's outrageous anyone thinks calls for prayer are a way to deflect responsibility for taking action against gun violence. Maybe action will come next year.
JD Vance tweets: "It is shocking to me that so many left wing politicians attack the idea of prayer in response to a tragedy.

Literally no one thinks prayer is a substitute for action.

We pray because our hearts are broken and we believe that God is listening."

Back-to-school season is here, and so are the school-year germs. Help your child and their classmates have a healthier school year by keeping them home as much as you can when they're sick! If they have to go to school, be sure they have a mask, and encourage them to wear it as much as possible!
Sickness is not a school supply! Things to send to school with your kids: Pencils and pens, A water bottle, Books, Excitement to learn new things!

Things to leave home: COVID-19. The flu, Measles, “Stomach bugs," Any other virus that can spread to others! Help your child recover faster and protect their teachers and classmates by keeping them home as much as possible when they are sick, but if you have to send them to school (we get it, childcare and time off work aren’t
always easy), send them with a high-quality mask.

Masks can also protect your child from getting sick with illnesses spread by others!
