I still come across signs like this one from our provincial PH, stuck on bathroom walls in medical clinics, university campuses, local businesses. PH can't be bothered sending out updated info so I've started putting stickers on them. Why is it so hard to learn new things and make changes?

Can someone explain to me why we still don't have any wastewater monitoring for influenza and RSV in NB? Looks like every other province, except NWT, does... but NB is still "not available". I understand we'll get a fancy Public Health lab through @vitalité in Moncton, will it be included? #PHtools

We only have COVID in our wastewater dashboard, not the other viruses... and we don't have any wastewater monitoring where I live, in northeast NB, but we were told in 2022 that we had "all the tools", whatever that meant...

It would be nice, in order to help fight misinformation, if the Government of Canada and PHAC would remove all these posters from all their buildings, including Park Canada washrooms across the country. Yeah sure, wash your hands, but stop saying it stops COVID, geez.

Thank you! I still wear a mask and carry a HEPA filter and my Aranet whenever I teach at the Centre de formation médicale du NB. Health-Inclusive Pedagogy is not implicit in their curriculum but I try to model it and hope they will remember in their physician roles.

Yep, that was a sad day when the NB government sold kids' health to "big milk"... and this was a great example of GNB giving the big finger to Public Health recommendations and going against them... And the photo set up for it was, urgh...

Aucune idée combien de cm de neige nous avons reçue à date? 40? Il neige toujours aussi fort, premier pelletage fait ! N'oubliez pas de déneiger vos sorties de sécheuse et d'appareils de chauffage!!

Sortie extérieure de sécheuse qui était complètement ensevelie sous la neige forte tombée durant la nuit, maintenant dégagée.

Between two snowstorms, this 50 something girl does not train for a so-called "beach body", nope, nope. Because saying we're "proudly canadian" also means doing regular weight training to be able to clear out your heat pump, emergency exit of snow, several times a week... "Everyday I'm shoveling" 🤪

A few feet of drift snow is blocking our emergency exit, shoveling between two snowstorms.
