One thing about Dolly Parton's passing that strikes me is that unlike some others, she experienced a lot of praise before passing. It wasn't saved for obituaries. There were regular (warranted) love-fests for Parton. I wish that for everyone. It's a good day to tell people you appreciate them.

We're not a cat family. None of us has ever had one as a pet, strictly dogs. There is one sole exception, and that's our Olib Kitty, that chose us, unofficially & affectionately dubbed Mitsy - bc of black marks on her back paws(IIRC). I got home and gave her a mortadella late night snack.

As much as I love being here with my cousins and brother, when I'm here solo, I feel completely relaxed. I can just hang with my friends or solo without having to feel like I need to coordinate the day's events.
