I stopped at my favourite coffee shop for my morning Americano. The guy behind the counter looked tired. I asked him what was wrong and he said he was working two jobs because he had invested all his savings in faery gold, which turned out to be worthless when the sun rose, and now he was thousands of dollars in debt. Also, his raven had hepatitis. I gave him a $100 and told him to come to my office in the morning. When he arrived, he revealed he was actually Odin the One-eyed Wanderer, the All-father, God of War and Death, Lord of Frenzy and Leader of the Possessed. My little act of kindness had earned me a place at his right hand in the Halls of Eternal Glory in Valhalla.
