🚀 The key message: ERASE-LC shows that administering IV remdesivir to people with LC is feasible, acceptable, and well tolerated. Signals suggest therapeutic promise, but only a properly powered RCT will determine whether remdesivir provides meaningful benefit.

This grouped bar chart, titled "COVID Positive Abnormal Chest CT by Air Quality Setting", displays the percentage of abnormal chest CT scans among COVID-positive patients across three different tiers of air quality control. The graph compares overall and asymptomatic cases, illustrating a clear downward trend in the percentage of abnormal scans as air filtration and ventilation efficiency improve from household levels to high-efficiency aerosol control.

Australia’s Health Minister Mark Butler will quarantine 5 Australians and 1 New Zealander evacuated from a Hantavirus ship outbreak. Of the Australians, 3 are from NSW and 2 from Queensland. Quarantine will last 3 weeks, shorter than Hantavirus’ potential 42-day incubation period.
An article from The Guardian titled "Health minister to enact quarantine for Australians on Hantavirus ship."
Health Minister Mark Butler announces the repatriation and quarantine of five Australians and one New Zealander from the cruise ship MV Hondius in the Canary Islands.
Key details include:
•	Quarantine Location: The Bullsbrook Centre for National Resilience, north-east of Perth.
•	Duration: A three-week initial period, though Butler acknowledges the Hantavirus incubation period can be up to 42 days.
•	Demographics: The five Australians include three residents from New South Wales and two from Queensland.
•	Legal Action: Hantavirus will be listed as a "human disease" under the Biosecurity Act within 24 hours.
The piece concludes with a quote from Butler emphasizing the government's responsibility to keep the community safe while protecting the returning passengers.
An article from The Guardian titled "Flight staff to be told quarantine arrangements" featuring updates from Health Minister Mark Butler.
The article details the following:
•	Staff Safety: Personnel on repatriation flights for the Hantavirus ship will use PPE and have "very high levels of protection." Specific isolation requirements for these staff members are still being determined.
•	Passenger Status: None of the Australians currently show symptoms of the virus.
•	Pandemic Comparison: Butler clarifies that Hantavirus is "not a virus with pandemic potential" because human-to-human transmission is very difficult, unlike COVID-19.
•	Risk Assessment: While not a pandemic threat, Butler notes the virus is serious, citing 3 deaths from 8 cases. Decisions are being made based on specific public health advice for this virus rather than previous pandemic models.
