It is utterly exhausting for people to go "DreamWorks is better than Disney" and such faff, disregarding all of the serious criticisms levied against the studio, and creatively NOTHING is accomplished with doing this. Me personally, I think both films deserve love and support.

I've seen a growing amount of posts of people saying that Forgotten Island is flopping at the box office because of Universal's lack of marketing for the feature. Honestly...I cannot agree with that because, from my POV, my social media was nothing but FI ads for the past few weeks.

They already did it last year here in Brazil; A bunch of old family titles (including a few Blue Sky films), the Maze Runner films, the 3 Night at the Museum films, and even Disney+ exclusives like the 2022 Cheaper by the Dozen film & Togo (yup, THAT Togo) were put on Netflix here for 6 months.

I'm not the most critical type, but having finished watching the series yesterday, I can safely say people are full of shit. Not only is it a great character-focused story, but also scenes like the speeder bike chase in episode 8 prove that Jon has the sauce for action sequences.

This is 100% true, as exciting as it is that KPDH2 will be headed to theaters from the start. I know Netflix is only willing to do this because the first movie was the break out animated feature of the decade that it was. They'd never do this with a film of their's that wasn't guaranteed to succeed
