As someone who cooks a wide variety of "ethnic cuisine" it's sometimes difficult to make dishes to share with my partner and kid that omit: anything fishy/oceany anything spicy any kind of pepper mushrooms beef bone in animal products potatoes any kind of soup offal

yes!🫡 I tried so hard to please the other adult in the house; my heart got broken so many times when they would push the food away and say, I can't eat this. Their palate isn't appreciative! they have no idea what it is to cook with love. the only thing he eats with consistency is my frittata
