A lot of you can't stop conflating cognitive, psychiatric, & neurodevelopmental disabilities with immoral behaviour, bc it's easier to pathologize ppl for making shitty choices than it is to acknowledge we're all inherently capable (intentionally or not) of causing grave harm. You're not immune.

The people who need to be pressured to leave relationships are abusers, not the victims who they entrap. The main message shouldn’t be “leave relationships that are controlling” (which focuses on a victim’s behavior) but “leave relationships you can’t maintain without being controlling.”

If you have hands and they function normally, please don't take it for granted. Since I was a child, I've loved working with my hands. I never realized how much my mental health relied on it until nerves started deteriorating and my right hand became paralyzed in one of my spine surgeries.
