Basically, bypass the current path by using the other side. Years ago, upgrading the path on the railway side was deemed to be too risky and/or costly given the proximity of the railway.

The space heating increase makes sense, as we upgraded rads in some rooms, and the old rads in one room were some kind of weird things that did not work. And don't get me started on the report sent to us by the energy upgrade company... including upgrades we do not need and a total estimate of...

Nothing has been done with a water-heating bar put in a switch to be able to heat it with oil without turning on the rads. But that has gone from poor to fair? I thought the new rankings were supposed to be bring things like this down rather than up?

...upgraded from single-glazing 1970s windows to triple glazing, but it's only "fair" overall... how does this make sense??? The conservatory's Velux windows also needed to be replaced when the house was assessed (they have now been replaced as part of redoing the roof), but it shows "no upgrade"?

She actually goes further than that and seems to have latched onto the Acts of Union as super-important. By her logic you’re British not English if your lineage includes Scottish ancestors. How many and how far back, who knows? What if you didn’t even know you had a Scottish great-grandparent? 🤷‍♀️

I'm using Stripe's term "customer portal" -- is there a better way of phrasing that? While I don't want people to unsubscribe, I don't want to be silly like some newspapers are. People should be able to cancel with ease if that's what they want to do...

When people are cancelling their subscription to @irishcycle.com some people use the customer portal, some contact me, and others seem to just cancel via their banks. Do many people regularly cancel subscriptions via their banks, or is the customer portal too hard to find/use?
