Our first batch of fans is through manufacturing about to ship and I'm literally crying this morning over how gorgeous these are. Never have I been more grateful for puns that got so wildly out of hand that it became a business. I hope you all like FAN art. @imafan-of-fans.bsky.social

When the end of the world is televised, a pantless man and his ex-girlfriend’s cat must fight for their lives one dungeon level at a time. Even with millions of copies sold and many weeks spent on The New York Times Best Seller list, the most important thing about this series is how deeply beloved it is by fans everywhere.

Genuinely, one of the best revision tactics out there is simply to . . . not look at the story for a while. You come back and go "I know what my reasons were for doing it this way -- but omgwtfbbq was that the wrong choice, and I can see that now."

“Rejection” means that someone in the chain is looking for a German Shepherd and you’re handed them something else. Perhaps it was a chihuahua. Perhaps a bicycle. The fact that you didn’t give them the German Shepherd they want doesn’t mean your bicycle is bad, it just means it’s a bicycle.

I am not being hyperbolic when I say that TOMBQUEST may be #Starkid's best work since TWISTED. It's sweet, touching, intimate, exciting, and REAL in a way that only works with small theater. I know that's a weird thing to say about a show like this, but it's true.

Really enjoying watching their tails come in (Apollo left, Mocha right)

An overhead shot of two long haired cats eating. The larger light gray one on the right is standing and has a tail that is nearly as wide and long as his body. The smaller brown on is sitting and has a very fluffy tail that would be impressive if she weren't in the same shot with the other cat.

#BluePit #Q #YA #F #LGBT #📖 THE SIGIL AND THE SERPENT BLOOD OVER BRIGHT HAVEN x SERAPHINA When the failed son of a dragonslayer undergoes a monstrous change, his already brittle self-esteem takes a nosedive, and he ends up needing the support of a fellow drake almost as much as he resents it.

An Agent's Guide to THE SIGIL & THE SERPENT

By Synell J. Hartman

A YA Fantasy at 97k words
Now Querying

In the background are two images, one by SpearXWind and one by Sharpibees

The Pitch: When a dragonslayer becomes a dragon, he must come to grips with his new body, befriend another dragon, and reject the evils of his imperial home to survive being hunted down by his human friends.

A magical city, and imperial indoctrination... (Blood Over Bright Haven Cover) ...meets dragon transformation with dire consequences. (Seraphina Cover)

A mood board of images from pinterest, interspersed with commissioned art of a blue dragon from pocketss, Flatw00ds, SpearXWind, and Fimbry. Text appears over the images: Transformation, Personal Stakes, Asexual Dragon MC, Coming of Age, Struggles of Self-Worth in the shadow of Imperialism

An excerpt of text next to an image by pocketss of two dragons talking:

"Every single time you could've done a sensible thing, you did the exact opposite.” She chuckled, looking off into the distance. "About the time you started crying over a little fire, I honestly thought you were joking. And that ridiculous thing with your claws..."
Pathi had his fists raised by the time she turned to face him.
She gave another, terser laugh, and regarded him with annoyance. "Truly, you present an unpredictable threat." She sat down on her rock, claws folded calmly in her lap, and beckoned him with a slight toss of her head. "Come on then. Walk to me. Walk at all."
Pathi warily eyed the rocky ground between them. Only slightly uneven. Were his legs still human, he could've taken it at a run.

My characters are their own antagonists. The nightmares of the spirit world act according to their nature. Only when people bond spirits, tainting them with human hubris, do they become evil Iris is my closest to an antagonist—deeply morally gray & living out consequences of choices made for power

Two six month old long hair ragdoll kittens, sitting on wood floor and looking up. Left is a warm gray kitten with aqua eyes, darker gray ears nose and tail. Right is a slightly smaller latte brown kitten with a dark brown (akin to dark chocolate or black coffee) face, ears, and tail. Her eyes are seafoam green.
