These people make Marie Antoinette look connected to the people and empathetic by comparison. They laugh at what their own voters are going through as they continue to mock them as they enrich themselves and have a great time.

Look if you've got a better way to run a country than "putting an illiterate octogenarian bigot on TV every few days to free associate and complain, and then everyone tries to figure out if it means we're about to start a war or not" I'd love to hear it. But the constitution says this is it.

Contact of mine there sums it up perfectly.
Screenshot of a post on LinkedIn about the Ai situation there.

“Just to recap:
1. Linkedin is aggressively telling everyone to re-write their posts and profile with Al, even selling it as a premium feature
2. Linkedin realizes people hate Al and starts downvoting Al slop in its algorithm, and taking down
"hundreds of thousands" of automated posts
3. Linkedin just added a button for people to flag posts as "Al slop" while still pushing everyone to re-write everything with Al
Linkedin is twisting itself into this inexplicable logic pretzel because it is owned by Microsoft, which has bet everything on Al ($190 billion so far, plus 27% ownership of OpenAl).
So LinkedIn's solution is to constantly light itself on fire while blasting water at the flames.
It helps nobody: the audience hates seeing it, the poster gets a damaged reputation, LI loses money because fewer people want to use a crappier product, recruiters and advertisers get less bang for their buck, LI/Microsoft execs whose pay is tied to performance get less money.
It's the rare lose-lose-lose-lose-lose.
The irony of all this is that LI is a SOCIAL media site. The point is to connect with people. Actual people. LI has completely lost the plot by taking the one thing that makes this place different and worthwhile and trying to get rid of it.”

Japan officials hunt bear that raided couple’s fridge amid string of break-ins
Officials set up traps and electric fences after 14 break-ins recored in one town in two weeks, amid fears of a repeat offender Authorities are searching for a bear that sneaked into the home of an elderly couple and raided their fridge amid concerns it may be behind 14 break-ins across a Japanese town in the past fortnight. On Monday evening, Mitsuo Matsubara, 87, was confronted by a large Asiatic black bear when he went to investigate a noise in his kitchen. His fridge was open, and food was strewn across the floor. Kinugawa bridge looking very geometrical with its many triangle bars takes you from Katsushika to Sumida Ward in an arching alignment of white lights. They reflect in the water a bit, which is your only indication that this is Arakawa and not some black nighttime abyss. Once you arrive in Sumida the Skytree, lit blue and painting the clouds a bit, is so much taller than its friends it is awkward, really.

It will never stop being funny to me that the street fighter subreddit has a much better, well reasoned ai policy vis a vis literally all universities.
Hi, thanks for posting! We do appreciate you thinking of us even though we have to moderate.

Our stance on all AI generated content (Images, Video, Voiceovers, and whatever else LLM based AI gets up to in the future):

At best, they are approximations of street fighter characters as the AI has no clue what it is trying to create. Because of this, there is no street fighter content so they are not allowed. (rule 1)

Also, they aren't allowed per our source rule. As AI sources cannot be tracked, we must assume that they use uncredited sources in the learning data. (rule 5)

Finally, AI images, video, text, and voiceovers are barely any different than posting a screenshot of a google search. The level of effort is so low that we consider it spam (rule 3).

Because of these reasons, AI art and other AI content is not allowed.

If you would like to contact the moderators about this removal, you can do so here.
