I've been keeping a record of games people made in response to this manifesto, they're in an itch.io collection here: itch.io/c/7632694/no.... Each one is a little treasure, and usually very short, I recommend checking them out! I have also come up with a little idea.

Every time I see a YouTube title that goes “Is [game/series] still worth playing?” I want to throat punch the creator repeatedly. Questioning if a person’s (or collection of people’s) art is worthless is such a dogshit concept. It is deeply insulting to humanity that the genre exists.

it pisses me off when the gangs of clueless racists pretend they're marginalised underdogs. the police, government and media are on your side, they will go to extremes to avoid punishing you, you are playing on easy mode

I was already honored to be a voice in their game, but now I’m DOUBLY grateful to have @doublefine.com’s continued support as they unabashedly celebrate our collab! (And please don’t worry. While my success & public joy seem to be upsetting to some, I feel like I’m getting to live my dream life!)

When your desire is high but your coin fund is low. ;w; One of the artworks for the Popful Mail themed collectable cards in a set put out by Falcom in 2001.

Anime artwork with a cartoonish doodle feel with Popful rubbing her cheek and holding a fancy looking sword close to her while her companion holds up a rather slender looking coinpurse to the less-than-thrilled looking shopkeep.

If you prefer text over long Youtube videos or just want to read more, do check Crooked Bee's Let's Play of the game: lparchive.org/Wizardry-IV/ She used to be the RPG Codex's editor and was one of the main contributors to the CRPG Book, was probably the #1 dungeon-crawler expert in the Internet.

I understand why there’s lots of nostalgia for everything in the past, but when I see stuff like this I just want there to be some reckoning with the fact that pewdiepie, an undeniably very shrill and annoying online presence, was the most popular YouTuber for so long lol

A game is only a failure if the developers feel it was. Although one possible metric of success could be used is 'does the developer have the resources and energy left in them to make more games afterwards?' Stop thinking like an analyst, shareholder or some other obnoxious bean counter sub-class.

The big literary discourse on twitter right now is whether The Hobbit—a children’s book that won children’s lit awards and was literally written for the author’s children—is appropriate reading for children or in fact such a difficult book most adults can’t “get their head around” it.

Mainstream Respectable opinion is that people joking about a bad person's death represents a culture of cruelty, but really it represents a culture of impunity. It's a coping mechanism for watching someone do evil their whole life and never seeing consequences
