CAT DISTRIBUTION NETWORK, I NEED YOUR HELP, esp if you're in the C'ville/DC region! A friend of a friend and her husband have to move home to her parents' house due to an unexpected job loss, and the parents won't allow her 3 young kittens. She needs a foster for about 6 months while they regroup.

I didn't get enchiladas very often at restaurants but absolutely loved them. They were good frozen! I think they had a little chocolate cake desert thing, too. Once microwave dinners came out, we switched to those. My parents had a STACK of those plastic microwave plates saved.

I've found some nice echinoderms at the MAPS show this week. This is a large Acrocrinus with a Platyceratid snail attached to the tegmen. It's from the Mississippian Bangor Lm. of Alabama. #FossilFriday

Saw this beauty embedded in the Hot Springs trail at Big Bend National Park in Texas. I couldn't stop staring and touching.

Large ammonite fossil in the rock on the ground. It has large ribs that appear as the fossil spirals around. It looks like a very large cinnamon roll.
